We, ALAUDARK [ˈælədɑːrk], are committed to becoming a renowned brand in the freestyle mountain bike domain. We present the LARK DJ sponsorship program for dirt jump athletes, offering every young individual the opportunity to be seen by the entire world.

WHO is eligible for sponsorship?

  1. Aged between 16-25years, either male or female, residing in countries where our coverage is available.
  2. There are no language restrictions for social media page content, but the individual must possess basic English communication skills.
  3. The Instagram account must be personally managed by the applicant, with sufficient posts to prove they are a DJ (dirt jump) rider.
  4. The candidate expected to be enthusiastic, proactive, willing to share and communicate, and someone who values commitment.
  5. Live in the area where there is no current athletes being sponsored.
  6. Possessing basic product knowledge, including familiarity with bike parts, their functions, best practice of maintenance.
  7. Enthusiastically and professionally submitting product inspection forms to assist the Alaudark products team in monitoring the relationship between product lifespan, strength, and potential issues.

HOW to apply, and the steps?

  1. Please ensure that you carefully read all program-related information on this page, including any questions you may have that are addressed in the FAQ section.
  2. Submit the online sponsorship application form via the Alaudark's website, providing as detailed information as possible for evaluation.
  3. As confirmation of the approval of your application form, Alaudark will email the program's guidance document to the candidates. Please ensure you read it carefully to facilitate a smooth progression into the next interview stage.
  4. Participate in an interview through Instagram Messenger to confirm some personal information and details related to the sponsorship program.
  5. Complete the signing of the sponsorship contract PDF via email and receive the product packages from Alaudark.
  6. Athlete must be capable of collaborating with a local bike shop to film and document the entire assembly process of the LARK DJ, producing a YouTube-format video not exceeding 5 minutes. This video will be published on the alaudark*bikeshop channel, serving as a joint promotion for the local shop's services..
  7. Takephotos as required and send to athletes@alaudark.com. Use the edited photo as the cover page for the onboarding post.
  8. Within 30 days, initiate a giveaway post (not story) event with free product provided by Alaudark.And is willing and able to cover the cost of domestic shipping the giveaway products from their region to the winners' regions.

  10. Receiving the official Alaudark sponsorship program offer via email marks the candidate's entry into the formal athlete guidance program, officially making them a sponsored athlete of Alaudark.

SUPPORT you receive:

The sponsorship program is divided into two stages, starting from the day the athlete officially appears on Alaudark's Instagram page. Each stage lasts a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months, with the email receipt date as the reference. The maximum duration for any sponsored athlete in the program is 24 months. The sponsorship will automatically terminate after 24 months, regardless of notification.

First Phase:

  1. Three sets of free products: 1 LARK DJ frame, 1 pair of BEAK DJ wheelsets, and 1 TALON single-speed sprocket.
  2. The athlete's personal account enjoys a lifetime exclusive -20% privilege.
  3. Permanent feature on the brand's official Instagram page, among the ranks of outstanding athletes from various countries.

Second Phase:

  1. Continued reasonable maintenance, replacement, and updates of the products sponsored in the first phase.
  2. Free trials of 6 new products: BEAK series hubs, TALON series cranksets, TALON series 12S cassettes, FLIGHT series saddles and seatposts, ALULA series MTB high-performance hydraulic disc brakes, etc.
  3. When there is a DJ JAM at a park the athletes who frequently train, or the athletes either host or actively participate in organizing a such event will have the opportunity to receive Alaudark products as sponsor prizes. However, it is imperative that the athlete directly contacts Alaudark for the sponsorship, organizers also need enter into a written agreement with the brand.

Even after the official sponsorship period ends, athletes who remain featured on our Instagram page and maintain long-term interaction will be awarded LARK Team Lifetime Honorary Membership and receive medals and other memorabilia. They will also automatically qualify for priority invitations to brand-organized offline meet-ups, competitions, memorials, and celebration events.

To simplify the sponsorship process, the 2025 version of the program provides a clearer, more organized outline of the program schedule, key phases, and specific requirements. This version refines and streamlines previous content to enhance ease of understanding and participation.

Our evaluation team selects athletes based on the quality and engagement of their Instagram profiles, focusing on the relevance of their Dirt Jump (DJ) content, the frequency of brand interactions through reels, posts, and stories, as well as their personal riding style, audience reach, and overall influence. At this time, we do not factor in TikTok or YouTube presence or influence. Additionally, a solid understanding of product knowledge, including bike parts, their functions, and maintenance best practices, is required.

Alaudark provides sponsored athletes with periodic 10% incentive coupons to support their social media influence. Sponsored athletes can distribute these coupons to their most engaged fans who actively participate in their social media content.

Only athletes in the second program phase are eligible to request product sponsorship for local DJ competitions or jams, either organized by them or at a familiar park. Alaudark will supply products as prizes to support the local MTB community. Sponsorship requests must be initiated by the athlete, and organizers may need to sign an agreement, depending on the quantity of product support requested.

All athletes who complete the Alaudark program become lifetime honorary members. Continued support beyond the contract depends on coupon-driven sales and engagement. Benefits may include additional product testing opportunities, event support, and access to future programs beyond DJ. We are also developing exclusive Alaudark memorabilia to enrich the athlete experience.

Sponsorship ends if an athlete does not progress to the second phase within 12 months from the initial onboarding post on our Instagram page. It also concludes 12 months after receiving a phase 2 extension notice, if applicable.

Typically, products are not reclaimed, but Alaudark reserves the right to retrieve them if athletes fail to meet program commitments.

Within 7 to 10 days of being featured on Alaudark's Instagram, athletes must initiate a giveaway on their own profiles. Alaudark will provide the giveaway product, while athletes set the rules and determine the duration (minimum one week, ideally two). The brand ships products to athletes for the giveaway; athletes cover domestic shipping costs to the final winners.

Yes, athletes are not permitted to resell sponsored products. Exceptions are allowed only if:

1) athletes obtain prior approval from Alaudark, or

2) they complete the sponsorship program in full.

The current sponsorship program does not cover financial or cash-equivalent support for competition expenses. Any updates will be reflected in future sponsorship terms.

To provide athletes with fewer restrictions during the collaboration period, we recognize that many countries and regions impose varying levels of restrictions or legal regulations on social media use for individuals under 16. These restrictions can make it challenging for athletes to fully utilize their personal social media. Additionally, during the implementation of this sponsorship program, athletes are required to personally sign related contracts and terms (with guardians signing for those under 18). The validity of these signatures is often age-dependent in some regions.
